The following resources were developed as part of the Biodiesel Retail Infrastructure and Marquee Fleets Project funded by the State Energy Division.
Use the Biodiesel Best Practices Guide to familiarize yourself with how to prepare for the transition to biodiesel, blending practices, cold weather handling, quality control and standards, and the administrative to-do's for biodiesel distributors, marketers, and retailers.
The quick guide resources are a good quick and simple overview of handling, blending and distributing biodiesel. These were developed with biodiesel distributors and marketers in mind, and are good resources to provide drivers and handlers with. |
| The following quick guides are PowerPoint files, and are sized as 4" x 8.5" pages. These files are meant for printing on thick cardstock. Each quick guide is 2 pages, for double-sided printing. |

PAPCO Energy, Inc. installs first publicly accessible B20 pump in Virginia Beach while Virginia Beach Public Schools Makes the Switch |
|
As part of this project, Virginia Clean Cities helped fund infrastructure improvements for PAPCO Energy, Inc. in order to prepare for biodiesel retail introduction. This resulted in the opening of the first publicly accessible biodiesel station in Virginia Beach. The opening of the station was the catalyst for Viginia Beach Public Schools to transition to B20 in all of the buses that refueled at the PAPCO station -- some 200 school buses.
